About The Default News
While working as the REO Specialist for a national
real estate network, Annemarie du LeBohn realized
there were few foreclosure resources that explained
the mortgage default process.
In 2007, she started The Default News after her
employer did a massive lay-off, and she became
unemployed.
Her articles are inspired by her real estate colleagues
in the mortgage default industry. They include:
lenders, asset managers, lawyers, title and escrow
reps, and foreclosure/REO listing agents.
Her goal is to help people better understand the
foreclosure process and how bank-owned homes are
managed.
